Laxami Narayan Temple or Birla Temple forms one of the major attractions of Jaipur. Birla Temple of Jaipur looks stunning, when it is brightly lit in the night. The Temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu (Narayan), the preserver and his consort Lakshmi, the Goddess of wealth.

The Jagat Pita Brahma Temple is located on the banks of the Pushkar Lake. This is probably the only important Brahma Temple in the country. Many people visit the temple during the month of Kartik (Oct-Nov) to take the bath in the lake.

There are about 500 temples in Pushkar, which surround the Pushkar Lake. Some of the important shrines are the Brahma Temple, Savitri Temple, Rangji Temple, Varah Temple and Apteshwar Temple. Devotees congregate in these temples in large number to seek the blessings of the gods.
